Ellis Woods has just come into the possession of a pillar drill. After cleaning it up he found it to be made by Tardrew & Sons Bideford.
The fly wheel is mounted at the rear/side(?).
Ellis hopes to restore it but it’s a bit of a challenge: he is hoping someone within TATHS might know of the company or have seen a similar pillar drill. Ellis has found one newspaper advertisement from 1893 in which it says the company was founded in 1797:
