Ella has a collection of tools that she would like to know more about. They came together in a round turned beech wooden box. There are 50 metal tools with a variety of degrees of curvature at the tip.

Most have a bottom end that looks like it would have been slotted into a handle.
Some have the names 'King', 'Rasche' and what looks like 'Lathorne' engraved on the side. Others are marked with names that are harder to distinguish. Some look very old and others less so.

Any information would be very welcome, thank you.
May 2026 David Kilgour from New Zealand has identified these tools as shoemaker's stitching and sewing awls. Some are British style and some French style.
