Not as much fun as a good moulding plane, but TATHS does not run itself!
After many years of selfless service, our esteemed Chair, Richard Smith, has decided to stand down and devote himself to his musical instrument business. We are all very grateful to Richard for his hard work over many years, keeping TATHS on track and he retires with our best wishes.
In his place, Paul Coutts has agreed to become our new Chair.
Many of you will know Paul, who has been a Committee member for over ten years and has filled most of the positions in the Society, most recently as Membership Secretary. An acknowledged expert on Norris planes, Paul will take TATHS forward in new directions.
In Paul's place as Membership Secretary, we welcome Vicky Chapman.
Vicky too is a veteran of the TATHS Committee, having been Paul's predecessor and we welcome her back. And Vicky's favourite tool is her Bill Carter plane:
