If you are a UK member you have probably been bombarded recently by notices about the General Data Protection Regulations (GDPR) that come into force on 25 May 2018.

TATHS is subject to the new regulations and we are required to inform you about your personal data that we hold and how and by whom it can be accessed. We have developed a Privacy Policy which explains the data we hold, how it is used and your rights regarding it.

The full Privacy Policy is available now on this website under the About- Constitution tab, here.

Whilst we consider that TATHS has a lawful basis to process member’s data, as there are legitimate interests in providing membership benefits, we will be seeking specific permission from all members to continue to use their data. A letter requesting your permission will be included in the next Newsletter and it is very important that you reply as soon as possible. A full copy of the Privacy Policy will also be in the Newsletter.
